Beach House for Sale: Ivy Cottage

This little green cottage in Seaside, Florida, is on the market for $1,099,000--which is considered "a surprisingly low price" for the neighborhood.

The 1,480 square-foot cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and lots of potential if you have an extra million lying around to spend on it. To see the real estate listing and the rest of the photos, click here.

  1. "A short walk to the beach!" I'm SOLD!
Well, maybe not. Wonder if the new owners would need a nanny?

  11. Seaside is adorable. We almost did a winter rental there but than ended up in close by Blue Mountain Beach, where we had much more privacy. It's a sweet place though! And thanks for adding Completely Coastal here..., I'm off adding Beach Cottage Love to my blogroll too.

  16. Oh I adore this cottage... the color and also the paneling... white...
I am re-decorating our hall in our house in town, with white paneling. Real cute. I will also have a darkblue and white Ralph Lauren Wallpaper in the same hallway. Hope it will be great.

  18. It's funny. Everytime we get our rental catalogs from the Outer Banks in North Carolina (where we went a couple of years ago), I spend hours looking over the beach houses and McMansions in the book.

Surpringly, the 2-bedroom third floor condo we rented, which was right on the beach in Rodanthe was for sale for $350,000!

  19. I love that the listing says it's a, "surprisingly perfect price." Well, let's just say I'm DEFINITELY surprised. A million bucks for a cottage! Even with the decent square footage...WOWZA. For that price, I'd need a cabana boy included. ;-)
