A Bright Beach Bungalow

Sculptor Elena Columbo lives in this turn-of-the-century cottage with water views in Long Island, New York. I love all the bright colors she used--especially on the floors!

She keeps her linens in this antique cabinet:

From her back porch, she has a view of Shelter Island, across the bay:

Go to Martha Stewart's website for more information about Colombo's bungalow and to see the rest of the photos. (Thanks to Maya of Completely Coastal for posting about it first!)

This beautiful bungalow is what I'm hooked on this week, so I'm adding it to Melissa's Beautiful Life and the Hooked on Fridays party over at my other blog. Be sure to click over there to see all the fun stuff everyone else is showing us today!

  24. So beautiful and cozy! It looks like you could curl up and read a book with a soft blanket and a cup of coffee anywhere in that house. That sounds just about perfect to me.
