Classically Coastal Bath

Coastal Living is one of my favorite magazines when it comes to beach-house dreaming. Have you seen their online blogs? I enjoy reading Daily Catch, which featured this "Classically Coastal" bathroom recently.

I'm not sure how practical these mirrors are over the sinks, but I thought they looked interesting. And who wouldn't love lying in this tub?

To see more beachy baths like this one, visit Daily Catch and see what they're talking about today.

P.S. My blog friend Susan Lang is giving away a copy of her book Designing Your Dream Home. I read it and loved it! Leave a comment on her site to enter.

Key West is one of my fave places on this earth...a couple of X mas ago we took the kids down and we had a ball...so many fun things to do once they grow...have you been ?? My niece got married on the beach that wedding was a blast...

I am hooked on beach homes also...last summer we almost bought a place but honestly with this economy I am glad it fell through...we'll have it, when the time is right !! And so will you :)

    Have a great week-end...

  9. I love my beach house, but it's hard to have a cottage look when you must build on pilings! Cottages look downright silly perched atop pilings. Being in a floodplain, sandwiched between the ocean and the bay, makes it necessary to build UP!

  17. Well of course I have been hooked on Hooked On Houses for a long time. Who isn't? Now you have another little gem of a blog. I love it.I don't have a cottage, but I sure am trying to give this "Partridge Family style" house in Florida the same comfortable and laid back atmosphere. I will happily be following!

  18. Congrats on the new blog, it is looking fantastic.

Was a casual reader of your hooked blog and you always caught my eye with beach cottages. How exciting to have a space now dedicated to sandy floors!

Currently living in a boring town house but it is a block from the bay so we have named it Zen By The Bay, not there yet but something to aim for.
