My blog friend AnNicole (Our Suburban Cottage) just told me about Le Lavandin, this picturesque Bed & Breakfast in Provence, and I think I'm in love. What a beautiful place to spend a holiday!
Even though the B&B isn't on the water, I think the rooms have a light, beachy feel to them. Don't you?

There are workshops held there, too, if you want to learn more about things like cooking and creative writing. If painting is your thing, the surrounding olive groves and lavender fields would be a perfect place to get inspired!

There's a terrace off every room. Ahhhh. I would be taking my afternoon naps right here:
Excuse me while I book my plane ticket to Provence. See you when I get back (from my fantasy)!
To see more photos of Le Lavandin and to read about the workshops they have scheduled, check out their website.

Wooooowwwwww. Oh, that's beautiful. Can I come? (We're having margaritas on my blog for Cinco de Mayo. C'mon over!)
ReplyDeleteWoooooowwwww. This is so beautiful. Can I come?? My flip flops are already packed. (BTW, I servin' up margaritas on my blog. C'mon over...it's on me!)
ReplyDeleteThe pool almost makes you forget that the sea is miles away!
ReplyDeleteThis is spectacular! I'm drooling....one day I'd like to live like that...even for a week!
ReplyDeleteThat kitchen begs to be used. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSuch beauty. How wonderful would it be to stay and putter around in such an amazing little cottage.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
And when you get back from your fantasy, I'll get tickets and check in there, myself. Oh sigh...

Hi Julia, thanks for the visit....glad you could stop by. And,,, thanks for the follow and the nice compliments...I actually have never seen the movie but have heard by many that it's a good one (lucky for me;). -Denise
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVacation there..no way. I'm moving in!!
ReplyDeleteAnd to think I am going to be spending one short day in the south of France( may 16th)on my cruise. I can smell the lavender and croissants already!
ReplyDeleteI'm really pleased to know about them and their classes. Thanks for posting this really pretty house!
ReplyDeleteFirst, I had no idea you had another blog! You've been holding out on me...or I've had my head in the sand...most likely the latter.
ReplyDeleteIsn't her B&B amazing?! Thanks for featuring it. I'll have to send her an email and let her know.
Wow what a lovely place! I know I wouldn't want the vacation to end if I stayed at the B&B.
ReplyDeleteOh my heart... I am in love as well...take me there now!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog...yes that story was unreal. My Dad was out of his mind angry and I hid under the covers while the nurse held my hand. You never realize how much something affects you until you can recall every possible detail.
Take care
Janet

Ooooh, LOVE the lavender room!! I'd be very happy stretched out on that low purple sectional, reading a book and enjoying the breeze :-)
ReplyDeleteI'll keep you posted on my dining room progress. One thing for sure, is -- it's going to have PURPLE!! :-) And come to think of it, this lavender room could be another good inspiration picture.... :-)
