I snapped this photo of a nautical-themed nursery at a home show last year that I thought was really cute.
The house was named "Sophia's Harbor" and sat on a winding canal, so the designer gave all of the rooms a beachy look. To see the rest of the photos I took of Sophia's Harbor, click here.P.S. If you love a good bungalow, take the tour of Diane Lane's in the movie "Must Love Dogs" at Hooked on Houses today.
Ooh I love this look too. Very pretty, very beachy....really makes me with it was warmer outside today!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful nursery, very peaceful and welcoming.
ReplyDeletelovely! the starfish on the blue are too amazing.
ReplyDeleteI tagged you with a queen award on my blog! :)
I love it, but would have thought it was a boy's room.
ReplyDeletePretty, but all I can think of is a big spit up on that beautiful white chair. Are my babies the only ones that would sometimes projectile puke an entire bottle & then smile about it? I waited to nicely decorate my children's rooms until they were about 3. I didn't spend a ton of money on baby decor, but that is just me. I had Irish twins..I just tried to keep 2 happy & myself sane. This looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteReally cute! Lucky baby.
ReplyDeleteWhat a grand nursery! I can imagine any baby's sleep would be full of wonderful dreams.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and a such a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteLove the white chair with the blue piping.

ReplyDeletei must have had a room like this in a previous life... the colour combination, the nautical theme, all make me tick!
(i once painted one wall of my bedroom navy – one must not be scared of dark colours!)
