I thought I'd try to make it up to you by showing you some photos of the house Billy Joel and his wife Katie Lee share in the Hamptons. Today when I heard the news that they are separating, it reminded me of a post I wrote about this house on my other blog last year when they purchased it. Take a look.

I like how comfortable and unpretentious it looks. I could use a vacation in a place like this right about now. . .

The beach house was reportedly $18.75 million. I'm guessing these views made it worth it.

To see more photos and learn more about both the house and the Joels, go to Hooked on Houses. And cross your fingers for me that I'll somehow manage to meet all of the deadlines that are looming. Thanks! :-)

And what a view it is -I do love the Hamptons! The beaches are so wide and open out there..., so we might be seeing a sale sign soon on this one then.
ReplyDeleteHi Julia! I sure could use a house like this today~ Thanks for sharing

ReplyDeleteI love this house. It is rather amazing to have oceanfront out East. We live on Ocean Road & have one mile to hike/bike to the beach. This is luxury!!
ReplyDeleteI know I just heard that today. It seems and that he and Christie Brinkley both have a hard time finding the right mate. Too bad...the house is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteJust saw the movie The Proposal. You have to go see it, great movie, but OMG the house!! It's amazing : )
ReplyDeleteWhat a great house! I love the ceilings.
ReplyDeleteWow I love it what a refreshing home thanks Julie:)
ReplyDeleteI love how they let the artwork be the color in the house. Very warm and cozy. Too bad they can't keep the marriage together. What a shame!
