A House with a View on Rosemary Beach

As I was searching the beachfront real estate listings in the Destin, Florida area, I came across this house on the Gulf (Rosemary Beach, near the house with the famous red kitchen I showed you recently). Not only does it have an amazing view of the water, but look at this lovely little courtyard:

The porch and the view may be my favorite part of the house--and what makes it worth $4.95 million, I imagine:

You can get more information about this beach house and see more photos here.

  1. Soooo pretty! I can't wait to build our deck this weekend...shhhh, don't tell, it's our Father's Day surprise. This kinda beachy look is what we're hoping to capture.

  2. Holy cow! We were just there for Spring Break this year. We love that beach and always rent a house when we go. If only we could afford to buy there!

  3. What a lovely beach house! I like the double decks, and the real Southern look of this cottage -- suits its surroundings beautifully. And it surely has a multi-million dollar view!

  5. Rosemary Beach is really charming. I was there when there were still many open lots. I'm sure it's fully developed now.

  9. Hi Julia, that view is simply unbelievable and makes you dreaming. And the courtyard just looks as if someone has beamed you into a time where people seemed to have more time for relaxing and really enjoying what they have got. I love those secluded gardens where any distraction from outside can be closed off...
And what I also love is that the interior of this house is so wonderfully unpretentious.

And - thank you so much for leaving that kind comment on my blog!
