A Bedroom with a View in the Hamptons

The Wall Street Journal's real estate section has a slideshow today of luxury homes that are for sale in the Hamptons. This one has a $28-million price tag. Check out the view that money buys you for your bedroom!

You can see the entire slideshow of Hamptons homes here.

If you prefer cozy houses with old-world charm, then you've got to see this 1920s caretaker's cottage in Carmel that I'm featuring today at Hooked on Houses.

  7. I've been to Carmel several times but the traffic was so bad, we really could not enjoy our tour. Carmel is such a small town, it's surprising how many people want to see it!

I would love to come and look at it, Im sure I would totally fall in love, but its just so so over the top out of my reach its crazy! Coastal Nest would feel much more at home with Suzy in the cozy caretakers cottage.. But thats just me!
