When I spotted this bed at Coastal Living, and it made me want to paint mine blue. And a couple of night tables, too, while I'm at it. So pretty!P.S. I'm featuring Sienna Miller's London house over at Hooked on Houses today.

* Julia, this makes me smile n' just "feel good"... it ALSO makes me want to, for the gazillionth time, buy a lil' beach house for us!!! Sooooo precious, sooooo UNpretentious~~~ DARLING!!! ('scuse me now, must go talk, cozy up to Jim!!! Insert sly smile & a mischevious grin here, Julia!")~~~
ReplyDeleteThank you AS ALWAYS,

That is so fresh and pretty. Having a bedroom like that would feel like you're always on vacation. It's like a warm, salty breeze in October.
ReplyDeleteThat's gorgeous! Gotta love some beachy blue anything...
ReplyDeleteOoooo.... purty!
ReplyDeleteThat's the kind of summertime room I grew up with.

Oooh, I love that! So fresh and pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteSooo pretty. I can see curling up with a good book and taking a nap in that room.
ReplyDeleteThis room is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteall of the things said above - and more - so reminds me of my little all white beach cottage of a few years ago - great post!
ReplyDeleteAnd the three starfish pillows are the perfect accent! I want to be there.
ReplyDeleteEverything about this sweet room says "be calm".
ReplyDeleteLove it!
Sunshine,

I had the same idea when I saw this as well- except I am painting it a pretty milk glass green, as I have been using this blue in too many other areas of my house.
ReplyDeleteI've been hunting for a bed frame like that in ANY color....siiiiigh.
ReplyDeleteI love it! It's so calm and relaxing.
ReplyDeleteIt's not just blue it's a shade that whispers "relax you're at the beach." Love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty blue! And I love the pops of yellow on the starfish pillows.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I am breathless.
ReplyDeleteLovely...My son has that bed (in twin) It's bright orange. Another in the garage preparing for our garage sale this weekend...maybe someone will buy it and paint it blue!
ReplyDeleteThis is the kind of blue I love to highlight with warm, dusky pinks and floral print and striped fabrics in the same tones. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteGreat way to update an iron or brass head board. If you get tired of the paint it can always be removed.
ReplyDeleteI could stare at that picture all day!!!!! : )

love it! hope your grandmother is all right :)
ReplyDeleteI don't care what anyone says, it is the wood paneled walls that make these rooms. All of this stuff in a regularly dry-walled room just would not have the same appeal or "look"

ReplyDeleteI think that's a very good point! I'll have to pose the question to my readers over at Hooked on Houses and see if they agree. Thanks! -Julia
