Have you missed me?
I started Beach Cottage Love with all good intentions last April, thinking I could keep a second little blog on the side. "Just for fun."
It didn't take long to realize how tough it is to maintain two blogs at once. I thought I could do it all, but--at least for now--I can't. I need to focus on my main blog in the new year instead of spreading myself so thin.
Thanks to everyone who has followed Beach Cottage Love over the past 8 months. Hope I'll see you over at my primary blog residence, Hooked on Houses, in 2010! ~Julia

Glad to hear it. Makes me feel better, you are human too :-)...
ReplyDeleteOh sad! Can you make it just a summer "fling" type of thing? I understand though - it's so hard to keep one blog going at times let alone one as great as HOH! I just love all the beachie pictures. It makes this So Cal girl who's stuck in the desert feel a little more "at home."
ReplyDeleteThat's ok Julia - maintaining one blog is time consuming enough - especially your wonderful Hooked on Homes blog.

we all get it ... plus you mother and wife and more and more I am sure :) maybe just on special occasions when that real beachy thing catches your eye ... or not - either way we are still with you - best le xox

I have missed you here, but I understand. Will you be adding the beach houses to your other blog (at least once in a while)? They are houses after all, and we are hooked on them. You do an amazing job. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI have missed your posts... We all put too much on our plates. No worries, were here and ready when you are! Love that pictute... I feel like I should be sitting on that bench sipping coffee. Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeletexoxo,

Thanks, everybody! I'll be moving my beach posts to Hooked on Houses for the foreseeable future. Not giving up on beach cottages--just the venue where I show photos of them. :-)
ReplyDeleteI can't even focus one small brain cell of attention on my blog so I applaud you even trying! Glad to hear you'll be sharing some beachy love at the mainstead -- 'cause Miss Laura's got an attic reno in her 2010 plans. Eek!!
ReplyDeleteGood for you, for knowing when too much is too much!! See you at hooked on houses!! happy New year Julia!
ReplyDeleteIt is so hard! I had to ditch the Preppy Patio a few months in & Stick with the Preppy Apron. I'm impressed by BOTH of your blogs. Thank you for all of the work you put in. I'll follow any and all blogs you work on. Just keep one--You are one of my favorite bloggers!! :)

ReplyDeleteHi Julia!
ReplyDeleteYou were one of the sweetest memories of Blissdom! I did have a good time and loved meeting all of you. If only I would not have let my insecurities get in my way it would have been so much better. I am a work in progress though and I look forward to making Blissdom11
